So I've finally taken down FILWTL. I don't think I necessarily have to explain why. The story was ridiculously, HORRIFICALLY problematic: written at a time when I, really young and reflecting similar ideas from other similar stories I read.
By the time I finished writing it, I was disgusted by it.
Why hadn't I deleted it sooner? Over a million reads on Wattpad was a goal of mine. I couldn't bear to give it up. But THAT in itself is problematic.
Anyway, sorry for writing legitimate trash. Stories, especially stories that handle important subject matters, deserve MORE. Also, I'm gay, and I want ROMANCE not whatever was happening in that story.
If this particularly bothers you, go find a story that's actually decent. You deserve better.
