            this is hawkins, mayfield. we live in a never-ending cycle of shit that gets thrown around until more /alternate dimension/ shit makes it all worse.  [  ash is matter-of-fact, blunt in her delivery. she turns to the side, angling herself and the box she's holding through the small trailer door. she glances back over her shoulder at the redhead. ]   i've learned plenty of ways to drown it all out. i've got earplugs galore. courtesy of hawkins high music department's store rooms, of course. they're not very secure.  where d'you want this box  ?             it's usually the music that pisses you off. or the couple's quarrels in the godforsaken hours of the morning.  [  ash makes her way to the trailer. she's not one to offer good will to people, but something tells her max and her mother probably need it. ]   you might find you want to pay attention, actually. the amount of drama that goes down in this shit hole will surprise you. i know more juicy and unsolicited details about the residents here than they have the nerve to publish in books or write about in movies.  (  ..  )   if you hate it here, just know you're not alone in that feeling.
