@haferness3 A poetry slam is just a competition where people get up and recite poetry to an audience. Usually you recite your own poetry, but some of the ones I compete in tend to allow recitation of other's poetry too. The competitions I partake in are usually are placed there and then, as in first, second, third and highly commended medals are given out at the end of the competition. However, some are just preliminary competitions that allow you to progress from local, to state, to country and there's even international competitions! It's loads of fun and a great experience. Hahaha. Yeah, well I'm going to look through them again and pick out the ones I really like. I let you know and you just tell me if I've got permission to use them!

@frankie_xx wait, you compete in what? What exactly do you do in a poetry slam competition? Anddd it depends which poems you want to use, let me know and I'll see lol. Some are...a little bit more important to me than others :D

          I've been reading from wattpad for quite some time. I only decided to join up and write my own story because its currently school holidays/vacation (almost 3 months!) and I needed something to do! 
          Thanks for welcoming me, it's real nice. I've just been reading your poems - they're really good! I compete in poetry slam type competitions and things like that and there's a few of your poems that I love to use! Would you mind? Of course I'd say you wrote them! :)
