The amount of joy high school teachers receive from making their students write ludicrous essays should be unlawful, if not punishable by death. I sincerely believe I do not become a better writer, or a writer at all, by making a fake letter to the principal about how we should shorten the school week, or about a time I was brave or whatever prompt my English teacher took a fancy to and printed out this morning.
So, I began looking for a place to focus my writing skills into, to receive real feedback from, and found this happy little island called Wattpad. We're all mad here.
I'm a teenage girl and I love all kinds of stories, currently writing a young adult novel. My favorite author is good old J.K., and I find inspiration from my daily life (you will find that many of my odd thoughts and quips have made their way into my characters' narrative).
Please feel free to send me any messages or comments; I am on here far more often than I'd like to say. Hopefully together we can make a better world where teachers can teach and writers can write, and they don't really have to mingle too much. Maybe they should just be neighbors.
