fuck I rlly wish I could help, I do write poems in my free time. if this is the ELA assignment we’re talking abt, the one about yourself, I used a lot of metaphors. I didn’t care about rhymes, but I used the moon and sea to be a metaphor for me and my boyfriend, as the moon helps the sea. I don’t know if that helps, but using metaphors will be a good thing

I’m like genuinely scared for my cats bc they are gonna be staying outside for the night. And the only reason I am scared is bc I don’t want them to get kidnapped or something. And they’re only staying outside because there was shit on some bags my mom was taking out and it got smeared into the counter and my dad saw it and he got mad and said that either we (me and my siblings) or my cats leave and told us to leave them out side.
