@frendlyfox Hi! I know you probably haven’t been on here (and that’s ok!), but I just want to give an update on my life. That way, if you do get on to look, you’ll have something to read in case I don’t respond :)
            
            To start things off, the end of last year was pretty rough. Just a few days after my last message to you, my grandma sadly passed away. It hit me pretty hard, but I know she’s happier now. I miss her, but I am doing better now. Grief does hit randomly, and sometimes it hits hard, but I think that’s just how life goes.
            
            
I guess the next bad thing would be that my uncle’s family has now just cut us off from everything. My cousins (his kids) just ghosted my mom about everything, including asking about getting together for the holidays. I won’t get into it, but they’re all just greedy. I mean, all of these people are adults and have kids of their own, but still act horrible. The only ones who’ve stayed around are my mom’s sister (my aunt) and her family.
            
            Last year ended a bit badly, but so far this year has been a little bit better. It was my birthday a couple days ago, and that was fun. We had a meal, cake, and played games at home. My sister does have a date for her wedding now! It’s later this year, and we just got our tickets yesterday to fly for it. I’m pretty nervous about it and flying, but I think it’s going to be good.
            
            So I’m hoping this year will be better than the last. I also hope it’s going better for you! Don’t feel bad for not responding to this—it’s meant to be just a little chapter point for you to read whenever you want to. Just a little something to keep you up to date on my life. Which I think we’ve been talking for almost 4 years now. And I’m so happy that you messaged me then and became my friend. I cherish our friendship a lot and it would’ve never happened if it weren’t for you reaching out first, so thank you so much for that❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@frendlyfox Don’t ever feel bad for being away for a while! We’ve both gotten older now, and I think with age, people in general don’t talk or text as much to each other because they’re now more busy and try to be more independent. I know I don’t talk or text anyone as much as I used to anymore. I think it’s just a part of life. Even though it isn’t as many texts or as much talking as it used to be, I feel like I still enjoy it just as much. I just enjoy catching up and talking, even if it’s just one conversation or one text. Even if it’s months in between messages, I’m still happy because I know that you still care about me enough to talk to me and will be there someday. Even if you don’t message me again, I would still be happy with the times we did talk because I know our friendship didn’t end on a bad note. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
