My friends...we are back!! Updates will be slow but the story is not dead I promise!! I'm hoping to get the next chapter out sometime in March but I gotta be honest, writer's block has hit me like a brick wall! I've gotten some new inspo however so I'm hoping things are back on track. Anyway, love you all for sticking with me and this story (and new readers, welcome!!)

Hello, I’m writing to you because I just discovered your story and I love it!! I would like to rant for a little bit and see if I can encourage you to write more and more chapters.

My first language is not English so my grammar is not the best. Hopefully I made this rant understandable and somehow enjoyable.

Also, feel free to disregard this if it's too much, but this is something that has helped me in the past when I've had writer's block. It doesn't always help but at least it helps to organize your ideas. I feel that what usually happens when writing is that you have ideas and the story is definitely in your head, but translating those ideas into writing is very difficult.

Firsts of all, I would suggest outlining everything that will happen along the story, just brief ideas. Basically, everything that came to your mind when you thought about the story. Whether she'll go back to university or not: if she'll try to run away and if she will succeed somehow; if there are other conflicts along the way; if they end up falling in love... things like that. Sometimes there's something you want to include but you don't know where to put it in the story, so organizing your ideas is a great way to solve it.

I would also suggest discerning when the key points of the story will occur. If you want your characters to fall in love, and your story will have 20 chapters, maybe don't have them hating each other on chapter 19. But also don't drag it so much that nothing mayor has happened between the characters by chapter 70. I love the slow burn, but by that point you start to wonder if the characters should really end up together.

Well, after this massive rant that is probably stepping out of the boundaries set by the writing Gods, I just want to say that you should enjoy writing. And even if you follow some of these suggestions, that doesn’t mean you couldn’t change your ideas halfway through.

I really like that while Enric has the right amount of possessive, he also seems loving and accepting. I think he will be a good hero.

I can’t wait to read more of your story.

Also, I’m not sure if you want them to have se**** relations in the story, but if that is the case I would say that you don’t really need to wait until they are in love per say. I’m saying this because that tends to happen in these stories, but there are also instances where the heroine goes into heat and such so that depends on the story hehe. However, I would say that you could also introduce the idea that making love and having s** is not the same thing. This could even be a way to get a more vulnerable hero and have them having intimate moments from and early moment. This would surely depend on the heroine’s personality but it would give her more depth. She can be quiet, but have a backbone too hehe.

I would also think about the amount of chapters you want the story to have. Knowing this will help you a lot but it also requires you to know yourself a little bit. Are you the kind of person that will commit to writing 100 chapters and the amount of time that would take? or would you rather write the story in 20 chapters but know that you’ll finish it? Mind you, 20 chapters make for really good stories too, but you will have less space to write random chapters that don't really contribute much to the story (but usually feel really good for the author and readers).

Contrary to the previous point, you could also write down everything you want the story to have and divide those events into chapters. That way, you let the story lead the pace and the final length; and while you risk losing interest halfway through, you would not risk either writing a very shallow story, nor writing too many filler chapters.

When you sketch out the story before writing it, you can also avoid falling into the Wattpad trap. And what I mean by this is, getting so deep into the loop of the main characters hating each other that the only way out would be to include an event where the heroine is kidnapped and the hero has to go and save her, and suddenly they realize they are in love and they will be together forever. I’m all for slow burn, but not love out of nowhere. I understand that the worst part and what has led me to have massive writer’s block in the past was precisely these transitions from hate to love, much more when the heroine may feel guilty about leaving her human life behind (her people and her life), and how accepting her new life would somehow mean that she forgets the damage done by her lover and his people. Here is where I have tiny suggestions about things that could occur in the story and I think they can be taken in so many directions:

            - Having the heroine understand that the hero won’t harm her
            - Discovering that the Lycans are not so bad (even if they aren’t completely good either because they let humans starve)
Now, she can slowly start to get into the new world and live her new life. But this is not easy. She should live a new life but not depending solely on the hero. Maybe she can go back to university, or do activities she enjoys (hobbies, sports, or whatever but outside the house).
She also needs to have friends her age (Lycans, humans or both). These things will help her settle down, and while it doesn’t mean that she has fallen in love at this point, this could help her open up to the hero.
It’s at this point that maybe she could start a sort of friendship with the hero, doing things together even if she sees it just as friendship.
He could also include her in decisions pertaining humans and she could make everything better for her people. And slowly, without realizing it, she would end up falling in love.
