i am afraid i am not much more than a weaver angel   ,     taking a hand in the     /    creation      /      of life     ,    its much above my pay grade   .   i simply just remember dragons being made     ,     but dying out   .,.     from what i observed at the least    . .    though human myths and tales of dragons are truly entertaining    .

            ymir had to pause to think on that one.  it's not like his mother was teaching him the history of their kind.  she was more focused on his strength and authority.

            the prince blinked a bit  ,  head tilting in silent confusion.  "that sounds so  ..  sad."  he mumbled with a frown.
            
            "all of our warriors are immune to frost  ,  so it's very unlikely they'd be overcome by it.  the only time it would happen is if they ended up sick.  fevers make our bodies more susceptible to frost."

            ymri has frost related powers  —  just about anything you can think that's related to it.  ice  ,  snow  ,  water  ,  etc.  they have an obsession with using it to create   '  confetti  '   to add to dramatics.
            
            he's named after a giant created from fire and ice intentionally!  he can use both.  steam can be created because of this!!
            
            when turning into their dragon from  ,  they'll use either fire or ice to replace his missing wing.  it's not a permanent fix  ,  but he can fly for a temporary amount of time with it.  (  there's logic  ,  trust  )  this won't do anything for their arm.
            
            people have a tendency to trust them easier than they should  —  they can't deactivate this.

the queens of fimbulvetr have never given birth to a son  —  ymir is the first case of this.  the queen of this generation tried countless times to give birth to another child after him  ,  but she's been unable to after him.  the king had two children  —  a son and daughter.  once  ,  in a fit of rage  ,  she forced him to kill one of his children.  she claimed that it was only fair for him to have one child if that was all she could bare.
            
            ymir is being trained to take the throne as any other queen would be but he's  ..  different.  he doesn't have the same drive as them.  he doesn't have that want to rule  —  the want to hold the lives of so many people in his hand.  he didn't want to command a kingdom  —  not unfairly  ,  not when there was other ways to go about things.
            
            while pretending to go along with his mother's plans  ,  he started a rebellion.  he's trying to overthrow the queen.  she's powerful  —  extremely so.  he may be a dragon too  ,  but he's in a weakened form.  even so  ,  he's determined to overthrow her  ..  and free his father along the way.
