Dear author! I've been really waiting for you!
          
           About once a week, I'd think about you and go to Wattpad to see if you'd reappeared. And I'd write to you a couple of times. I think a lot of people were waiting for an update on the story, and I wanted that too, but for the past six months, I've been thinking about you as a person. You've been gone and haven't written anything here, (many people thought you were dead) I just hoped that you were really okay and alive and well, and just didn't want to talk to us. Actually, it's not even about your GREAT WORK, although I really love this book and your writing, I would have been completely satisfied if you had taken a break but written and said that you were fine. In any case, I'm damn glad that you're not dead! Now my bestie won't have to listen to another year about the mysterious author from Wattpad who disappeared from the face of the earth! Have a nice day!

So I promised you I'd try... what I didn't expect was to write a full chapter in about 48 hours. I guess hard work pays off!
          
          On that note... Get ready for Chapter 31, coming very, very soon.
          
          To those of you who haven't read the book in a while, you may want to skim over the last few chapters just to remember where we're at.

Hi everyone, I bet you didn't think you'd hear from me ever again...
          I've been debating writing this message because of the fear of giving you false hope of a return, but after reading through many of your messages I realise that you deserve to know where I've been and why I just disappeared on you all. 
          To be honest I went through a very busy period in my life and as time went on I slowly disconnected from the book, feeling guilty for abandoning it but with no motivation to come back. In the last year I have returned to the book several times with attempts of writing a new chapter, but I just got no where. Each time I thought about writing a message to you all, but like I said I held back on giving false hope.
          I am at a very different point in my life from when I started writing this book, I believe it's been about 2 and a half years since I posted the first chapter which is crazy to think about. 
          It's also been a good year since I last gave you an update on a new chapter, one which had little motivation behind it, amongst a busy time in my life. 
          I am not here to promise you a new chapter, but I am here to promise you that I am going to try. For myself, for you guys and for Blake and Hayley. 
          To all of you that still read the book, still write positive and generous comments despite my absence, and have now come back to read this update. Thank you. 
          I can't tell you what it means. You guys are the reason I want to give this book an ending it deserves.
          And on that note, I hope I can send another positive update your way sooner rather than later. I will try my best.
