            ⠀arcadia’s  ability  has  been  stylised  as   frostbite   .    to  put  it  simply    ,    they  are  able  to  freeze  people  from  the  inside  out    ,    which  obviously  creates  an  undeniable  and  incredibly  deadly  threat  to  many  threats   ,   hence  why  they  have  been  considered  a  weapon   .    this  ability  is  typically  activated  through  touch   ,    however   ,   if  arcadia  experiences  any  sort  of  strong  emotion   ,   these  abilities  can  activate  unwillingly  and  freeze  anyone  within  a  twenty  metre  radius  of  arcadia   .   arcadia’s  skin  is  notably  cold  due  to  this  mutation   ,    and  they  often  wear  multiple  layers  in  an  attempt  to  preserve  whatever  heat  that  they  create   .

            ⠀it  was  an  unintentional  massacre   .    your  abilities  had  been  dormant  before  that  day   ,   and  yet  the  anger  you  felt  triggered  them   .   you’d  been  pushed  too  much   ,   your  own  family  had  been  too  demanding  of  you   .   and  you  snapped  at  them   .    it  should  have  been  only  verbal   ,   you  should’ve  been  able  to  walk  away  from  that  without  causing  any  harm   ,   and  yet  with  your  anger  came  a  deadly  spike  in  your  mutation  that  froze  everyone  within  your  small  town  from  the  inside  out   .
            
            ⠀with  no  where  else  to  go   ,    arcadia  was  picked  up  by  police   .   they  wanted  to  charge  him    ,    wanted  to  punish  him  for  such  a  grave  mistake   …    and  yet   ,   charles  xavier  found  out  about  him   .   in  a  rescue  mission  that   …    really  just  involved  more  money  than  actual  heroic  acts   ,    arcadia  was  bailed  out  and  allowed  into  the  school  for  mutants   .    it  wasn’t  perfect    ,    it  wouldn’t  bring  back  their  family   ,   but  it  was  safety   .

            ⠀meet  arcadia  sallow   ,   the  deadly  mutant  that  has  been  taken  into  charles  xaviers  school  for  gifted  youngsters   due  to  the  blood  on  their  hands  and  the  lack  of  family  left  alive  due  to  an  unfortunate  accident   .   under  the  care  of  this  school  for  young  mutants   ,    arc  was  able  to  live  a  semi  normal  life  within  the  walls  of  the  mansion   …   albeit   ,   they’d  never  be  allowed  out  in  the  field  as  a  hero   .    they’re  too  dangerous  for  that   .    no    ,    instead    ,    arc  grew  up  and  became  a  biology  teacher  for  the  school   .    it’s  a  significantly  less  dangerous  task  for  them   ,    after  all   .
