rant time: so basically i wanted a homecoming date this year, so i’ve been kind of reaching out to this guy and starting up some conversation and i can’t tell if he’s like completely not interested or just awkward and locked in (the man goes to sleep at 9:00 PM and is non-stop playing soccer while taking like a million hard classes). he’s kinda dry and takes forever to text back so i think i need to take the hint but i don’t want to completely give up until i ask him to go to the dance with me and i hate myself because last year i was so “idgaf about what any man or woman I just wanna have fun with my friends” but now I’m like checking my phone all the time for a text back and i feel so stupid talking about it like it’s something when it’s nothing and i just hate the person i’m becoming and wish i could find a way to just not care. i’m the most chalant person ever when it comes to romantics. idk this probably all sounds really childish and dumb but it’s been plaguing me like kill me now. i just want someone to like me.
