It's a dark, enemies-to-lovers romance called The Cunning, and here's a quick synopsis -
Madison has a secret, and she wants to keep it that way. She keeps her days short and simple. She goes to work, she feeds her neighbours cat, rinse and repeat.
No one is any the wiser about who she is and what she's capable of.
Because if they did, they wouldn't have accepted the money to take her. They wouldn't have tracked her routine and staked out her house. They wouldn't have tied her up and Jase wouldn't have told her to stop crying and accept her fate.
