When someone asked me where I've got my energy and happiness from, I usually smiled mysteriously and answered "From my parallel universe." People thought I was joking or mad but only those who love reading know that words can create a new universe where everything is possible. So yes, I have my happiness and energy from the stories that I imagine to live. I experienced so much but most of it never actually happened.
