"I want my readers to cry because one of my characters goes through a hard time. I want them to laugh because one of my characters does something funny. I want them to get furious because one of my characters makes the wrong decision. I want them to smile because everything turned out somehow right in the end. I want them to feel the same things I felt when I read a good book. I want them to fucking feel what I felt when I wrote my characters' stories down. Because they aren't only some fictional characters to me. They are  my friends, my family. They are my heart and my soul. They are everything I've done and everything I dream of. They are me. I want my readers to feel who I am. That's it."
