when writing a AU x OC fic, does anyone else feel embarrassed that their OC feels like they're just... there ?? when writing snow angel, it feels like its "MHA... but megumi's also here" (sheepish) 🥹.

@fuyufrost  oooo yes you’re so right, I’m always scared to toy with canon but I guess it’s really important for fanfics, anyway I think you’re doing really good with not having Megumi too main character while still adding to the story!!

@HoneyEclipse133  FR OMG bc its either a super serious moment and OC's just *hovering* above it all like a background character or theres a scene between two characters and they "get in the  way" but i think adjusting the entire scene just a little so OC needs to be there makes it work better if that makes sense ?? e.g. oc has a fire power and everyones cold so OC needs to be there so they can warm everyone up or sum !!

OMG YES ITS SO ANNOYING like I don’t want my OC taking over and being the main character but also.. then she’s just 🧍‍♂️.. and you want them to have their moments but wait what if they overshadow the main events/characters too much..? I think you just really have to have a compelling character and story for your character to fit in which is so hard

my google docs is being super buggy !! it wont let me access my fic bc it tells me im signed out and need to sign in but i AM SIGNED IN and it wont even let me sign out properly and its been doing this repeatedly...
          also i started playing dangonronpa after years and its super fun rn !!

ive... made a mistake in my writing, and im not sure if my readers would care, but i do. i didnt check when the japanese school year starts bc where i live, the new year starts in fall (september-ish)... but now that doesnt make sense in my fic and imma have to edit all the weather/dates bc ik no one cares but I DO 🥹

i wonder if i should rewrite my first few chapters of snow angel... my writing style has improved and i dont want to lose potential readers from my older work but i think thats the charm of wattpad - messy work ...? idk if im overthinking it !!

I feel the same way but also I think it’s charm like you said, and that way people can see your writing improve too! Reads just tend to go up pretty slowly I think… but if it’s any constellation I think your first chapters are really good-

random fact:
          my oc (megumi yukii)'s original quirk was supposed to be Mimic (copying Quirks via blood consumption) and i loved it, but... its hard to write a heroic character with the diet of a vampire (and it sounded a little too similar to himiko toga and neito monoma)... still loved the concept tho !!
