@theheartofflame LOL thank you XD I promise there's plenty of things I can't do well, just throw in some coordination challenges and it's over hahaha

My bf got Procreate for me last Christmas and it's definitely such a good app, especially for its price. Idk about how it compares to other software, tho I've definitely heard of Krita and Ibis Paint x as well

@fuzziwrites DANG that's awesome! I've never used Procreate before but I hear good things about it and Krita. Also I just checked out your cover shop and OMG YOUR COVERS ARE SO CLEAN! Is there anything you can't do well?

@theheartofflame I use Procreate! I drew my cover using Autodesk Sketchbook though; I didn't get Procreate until after

@fuzziwrites It should. If you have Kindle unlimited, it is free for you. But if you don’t, I am running a promo on March 8 where you can buy the e-book for free on Amazon.

HAPPY 2026!!!

It's been a while since I've been on, due to school, my health, and grinding offline to finish my novel, and I don't usually make announcements (maybe I should), but at the very least I would like to say something at the start of the new year.

As of the last day of last year, I finished Huodien, the first book of The Dragon's Ballad. It was a resolution I had set for myself in 2025--and an ambitious one for me at that. Up until now, I've *never* actually finished a book on my own. Words cannot describe just how much this means to me.

Beyond that, I also cannot express how colorful my time on Wattpad has been so far. I came in here with no expectations, but I've met wonderful people and friends, read stories by skilled and earnest writers, and gotten valuable feedback on my own work. I hope that I've been a similar light to others, and I hope that 2026 will be just as colorful as well :)

May everyone finish a book this year!

@Ailis_27 It's one of my favourite subjects, indeed next year I'm going to choose to follow more hours of sculpture. In these hours they teach us how to design the sculpture we're going to create, and then create it. We used clay to create a bas relief, papier-mâché (where I sculpt a dragon), we made a plaster cast of the bas relief, and rn we're using wood to make statues to put in parks. I chose to represent Daphne, from the myth Apollo and Daphne.

@Ailis_27 oh wow, sculpting? I've never worked with anything like it. That sounds really cool! Does your art school have structured units that teach you a variety of mediums?

And thanks for the kind words about my art! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
