hey yall i’m finally working on my book, it’ll be posted soon (hopefully) and on another account (i’ll @ it in a bit :)) but if y’all could do a quick survey for me to help me structure my story a bit, i’d be very thankful!
-the main character is outgoing and friendly, should her love interest be cold and rude or goofy and sweet??
-would you like a more comedic or flirtatious relationship between the main character and her best friend?
-what tropes are overused and which ones never get old?
-do you like when the author describes each character as they’re introduced or do you like learning more about their appearance as the story goes?

@fxrrest13090 Great ideas, love ❤ If the main character is outgoing, it would be a nice contrast to have a colder character, challenging them to really get to know each other. Maybe, once the love interest gets more comfortable, they appear more goofy. This could tie back to a backstory where they weren't allowed to show their goofiness openly (just an idea) As for tropes, I believe things like being the imperfect perfect main character is overused. Meaning that they seem to be flawed but actually do everything correctly. One trope I do love is when the two main characters grow closer through quiet moments. Through moments when they stare out into the sky in silence or simply look at each other. It's the little things that make writing wonderful. I think describing them as you go along let's the reader put their own spin on the characters instead of getting an info dump
