I'm stuck in a dilemma where I want to make all my OCs Indian but I know if that happens I'll get too deep into its culturally rich and diverse history that I will lose track of the main plot; and also itching to correct others' Indian ocs for minor inaccuracies (even tho I'm so excited that someone ACTUALLY put efforts in doing their research) cause I never see an accurate depiction of India in any non Indian media (the closest one has been the uncharted lost legacies game, the places explored in the game are places I've been in and I still can't believe the NPCs spoke in my mother tongue)(which btw is the oldest language in the WORLD) which again proves my point of why I don't write Indian ocs because every two lines would be: here's a fun fact about India -
if/when i write an indian oc you 100% have permission to “um actually” literally everything (technically i have one in the drafts but it’s a fic for the 100 so she’s not exactly,,, connected)

I'm going through my old drafts from wp, and the first fic I posted was a klaus fic in my other account and I was just going through all the comments with this fuzzy warm feeling in my chest bc I was 15/16 and my writing SLAPPED and the comments were really encouraging (and my replies so naive) and in an author's note I mentioned that my fic ENTERED THE WATTY AWARDS 2019????? HUH???
im genuinely mind blown cause i remember NOTHING & i have no idea if i misinterpreted it or something but that's insane. like my first fic at 15 ish entered the watty awards. i wish i just kept up with that story cause i had a decent plot and a good flow but the wattpad toxicity began right then :/
