i’ve just received some news that a close family member has passed away and i just don’t feel like continuing any of my books for the time being, i hope you all understand it was a bit of a shock.

i’ve always wondered this but do you think the beatles would’ve lasted longer or would’ve been different if brian didn’t die?
i think they might’ve gone through with the few ideas they had about performing again because brian could’ve planned it out for them or they might have stayed together for an extra year or two !
what do other people think about this ? :)
@tomscruise yes! paul did kinda take over but then near the end he was the one who wanted to try to keep things going but 100% brian could’ve helped make some situations less crazy for them !
@tomscruise yeah! as much as i appreciate paul wanting to become that leader figure, it’s always better when someone is actually trained for that position rather than trying to be everything at once
i definitely agree it was bound to happen but i was reading this book and they had a few concerts planned or events and i just think that maybe if brian was alive those would’ve gone ahead or they would’ve ‘broken up’ on much more happier terms (obviously not best friends but maybe not ‘how do you sleep’ anger) i just find it so sad that brian felt like he wasn’t needed anymore and they used to poke fun at him for it sometimes, he really did so much and fully believed in them ! but i feel like he was almost a safety net for them :(
why have i now just discovered that where i go on holiday every year is the same place aunt mimi’s house is (the one john bought for her in 1965 i think)
i’m literally staying 2 minutes down the road from where her house was and it’s called ‘imagine’ now. i mean there literally a picture of john, julian and mimi all down by the ticket booth for the ferry...
why did it take me so long to find this out !!
