Life is a mess sometimes, but we are not.

When I was in high school, I dreamed of becoming a lyricist but then, college happened and instead, I became a part of the academe as a lecturer in Finance.

Still, my hobbies continued of writing songs and poems. Sometimes I tried writing short novels and still aspire to be a writer someday.

Writing is a great avenue for us to be able to express and create a world that we wanted to perceive and that no one can take that away from us. Reality may defeat the substance of our dreams but to dream is what makes reality.

P.S. I love drawing and it's one thing that I am proud of being good at without the aid of formal instruction in that field. So if in an alternate world where I'd have the chance to go back in time again, I'd probably be a graphic artist. Though if time still allows as I am fairly young, I want to try to become one. ^_^
