Gabrielle Lebeau was born in Longueil in 1991. Having completed a health scientific college degree, she traveled for two years in Europe and Latin America. It was through travelling that she reconnected with her childhood passion: writing. She has studied at London School of Journalism (United Kingdom) and Creative Writing at Université de Montréal. Since 2015, she has published many short stories in literary magazines and in October 2017 released her first journalistic work: Biographie, Claude Dubois. In October 2018, her first novel Partie was published in French. In March 2018, after a three-month trip to Brazil, she started to work on her second novel: One Way Ticket to Brazil.
