@hajarkagalwa i think a good example for a themed reading year would be having a jane austen year in which you read all of jane austen's works. something like that.

yeah, you're right! seasonal reading is basically reading books that give summer vibes in summer, for example, beach read by emily henry. for monsoon, persuasion by jane austen. for winter, it could be jane eyre by charlotte bronte. reading books in the same seasons that they're set in is fantastic!

@galaxy-lane Loved reading this! The idea of having themes for a reading year is fantastic.

I'm not so much of a seasonal reader. This is probably the first time i've even encountered that concept. How does it work really?
Is it like picking books which are set in the season that you're living in? Say, reading ‘murder on the orient express’ in winter or ‘hound of the baskervilles’ in autumn.

Or does it imply reading intensity basis seasons? Like being able to gobble down tens of books during the summer vacations but having a lull period of reading during the exam season in march?

If this sounds idiotic, you're allowed to laugh XDDD
          	  I'm just curious to know

galaxy-lane

@winteresters yes! they can be read as standalones too but it is recommended to read the books in order to understand a little bit of the context!

Hello everyone! Hieee! This might be a bit random but I was wondering if you (or anyone here) know of any good Discord servers for people who enjoy reading and writing..Your stories are genuinely amazing, so I figured both you and your readers probably have excellent taste in communities too...
I'm looking for something cozy and active where people discuss books, writing, or just vibe together.
Hope I'm not spamming your message board. Thanks in advance!

Hey!
Your books are amazing though honestly I haven't read them all but from what I have you are an amazing author.
I really could use your expiernce for this:

So I've been researching an idea for a fiction-writing platform and would genuinely love to hear other authors' opinions. This isn't a promotion—I'm just trying to understand what writers actually need and what frustrates them about current platforms.

          A few quick questions:

          1. What's your biggest frustration as an author right now?

          2. Do you promote your books outside Wattpad? If yes, where?

          3. Do you wish there were better ways for authors to earn from their stories? If yes, what would that look like for you?

          4. What would make you consider posting a future story on a new platform?

Feel free to answer one, some, or all of them. I'd really appreciate any thoughts!

Just a question I want a definitive answer and opinion on. As a writer, do you write after studying for the day or before? Because writing before studying leaves me exhausted, and doing it after studying means what I studied floats in my head alongside tension. With less time in hand it's tough to choose as a student.

I'm asking you because you've a tendency to finish books. I adore writers who complete their projects. That makes you the best peer to ask this.

Awaiting your response with best regards,
          Sid :)

galaxy-lane

@Sidwoony hi! so if you're studying for exams, i would recommend not writing altogether (something i don't practice myself :D). based on what you described, you will be under a lot of stress the night before the exam. however, if it's like an ordinary weekend, i would recommend writing first before studying. write out a chapter, give yourself a half an hour buffer and then begin studying. this usually works for me.

            hope this helped!

Hi Author shree your novel "Bride"has exactly the plot I'm looking for—a sunshine FL and a shy, introverted ML. I'm busy with a few other novels right now, but I'll definitely read this one soon. Can't wait to start reading it! Wishing you all the best and continued success in your writing journey.
