[ a knowing smirk befalls the hyacinthus’ lips. he leans in closer to patroclus, continuing their flow of conversation. ] a sea nymph? how intriguing. you say she doesn’t like you that much, does this mean she visits her son regularly? or enough to have interest in his life? my own birth mother is a muse, but i myself have never met her. [ though hyacinthus started the conversation, and pushed with his endless questions, he now finds himself bitter at his own words. ]
