I am not a good writer but I can tell you some things that I look for in a good book. Always check your grammar. I wish I had done this more often when I write my book. Grammar is like captilization, punctuation, y'know things like that. Secondly, make sure your plot builds up. The reader wants to feel strong emotions so make sure you give some suspense and/or descriptive words. That's really all that I could think of. Let's stay in touch and I can help you if you need it!
