I was born into an Irish/Italian family. New England. Mother Italian. Great food. Father Irish. The gift of gab and endless singing. Together, lots of gatherings and great drama. Clapboard homes and falling leaves. Snow. Sweltering heat and insects singing. Winters in Miami, then California. Orange trees. Surfing. My uncle in the movies. Then the sixties and everything changed. Forever. Mostly for the best. So many hopes I am still rediscovering. So many of my generation's dreams yet unfulfilled. Not to give up, ever. That is my credo. Once you realize something, you can never again go back or escape your dreams. Savor the pain and sorrows. Let go to the bliss. With death, there will be nothing but bliss. Let go to it now. Accept. Accept. Accept. It is. It is. It is. See where we have been. Imagine the wonder of where we are going. The story never ends. It only wanders around the bend and over the next hill. I hope to see and laugh with you along the way...
