Scenario that just came up in my head:
I'm at an amusement park with my best-friend and all of a sudden, he (a guy that i may or may not like) comes out of NOWHERE. He says, "Hey (name)." I turn around to see him and lowkey die inside. I look at my friend with a hopeless look on my face then turn to him and reply, "hey (name)"
He smiles and continues, "How long are you staying for?" I look at my friend and she replies for me, "We just got here like... 15 minutes ago, so like 2-3 hours." A moment passes before they introduce themselves.
"Would you mind if I joined you guys?"
I stand, stunned for a moment, processing what he just said, "Join us in what?"
"Riding rides?"
I nod and look at my friend who is enthusiastically nodding at me. I turn to him again and once again, nod.
A few minutes later we are on my favorite ride, one that my best-friend is terrified of, which leaves me holding her hand for the whole ride. Out of nowhere, he asks me, "Can I hold your hand?" I don't know what to say but just put my hand somewhere that he can hold it without it being uncomfortable for either of us. We hold hands for the whole ride.
Later, we go on a ride similar to the teacups (one of those ones that spins and pushes people together.
My best-friend, suddenly having no anxiety goes into A DIFFERENT CAR. I die inside while I am seated next to HIM.
I proceed to get pushed into him multiple times during the duration of the ride, and at the end the operator stares at our car and presses the button that makes the car spin multiple times smiling the whole time.
Afterwards, we walk around for a bit and all of a fricking sudden my friend has to go to the bathroom and she apparently doesn't want me to leave him and come inside with her, so instead we go on the pirate ship while we wait.
We go in the back and when we make it to the very top he kisses me.
