I wrote “Hysteria|Wenclair” at a time of my life in which I needed severe help. I used the characters as outlets for certain things in my life that I will not repeat in this announcement, for obvious reasons.

Today, I have deleted that book. I am thinking to rewrite it so that it’s more ethical, better developed, and overall a more pleasant read. Whilst I did put TWs for my work as I wrote, I realised that I was not in a place in which I could write about the dark topics sensitively, appropriately, and emotionally.

If I do not rewrite it, I would like to say a huge thank you for those who followed me for that story and supported me the entire way. Had I not written that fanfic, I most likely wouldn’t have gotten the help I needed. So thank you.

Also, the way I had written Xavier was a stab at the PHW situation and his accusations, and whilst I still do not support his actor, I see now that writing a character that he just happened to play to be a r***st was not only OOC, but also completely unnecessary and jarring. That is not how I want my characters as well as him to be portrayed.

If these themes come up in your own work and/or you are actively enjoying a piece that has made these same mistakes, stop to think for a moment. Is this necessary to the story? Is there any mal intent as to why this is being written? Does interacting with this media make you feel better, or does it just make you feel comfortable?

Thank you for reading this. I am currently working on a chapter of Pigtails that explores similar themes, and I will do all I can to make sure it enhances the story rather than promotes any kind of self harming activities.

          	Goodbye.
