@Ashnalove   Thank you so much. I've been sitting on the idea for about a year and a half now, and I decided to use it for the Shaw Rocket Fund Contest. I came up with the idea in grade nine when my english teacher told us we had 45 minutes to write the start of a dystopian novel. The idea of the sun exploding always freaked me out a bit (irrational, I know) so the idea just kind of popped up. I am really happy you liked it, and hopefully the judges do too, haha.
