Who am I? It's not important. What is important is that I voluntarily sat down and wrote several hundred pages about morally questionable people making spectacular decisions. 
What I write? that's the part I hope lingers long after you've turned the last page. 
I'm the kind of writer who doesn't just tell you about a world, I show it to you. I share the faces and the moments, so you can see the universe as vividly as I do.
If you laugh, gasp, clutch your chest, yell at the characters, threaten to throw the device you're reading my novel on across the room, then quietly pick it up because you have to know what happens next, well hey! I have done my job!
