          with my portrayal of thanatos, he suffers terribly from the trauma of his imprisonment at the hands of the human king sisyphus. not only does he have psychical scars, he also is marked with emotional & mental scars & such. he believes that he is broken. than often uses magic to conceal his physical scars, though some scars remain hidden & covered up by clothing. my than is also a victim of SA. 
          
          although his imprisonment occurred many centuries ago & he has long since been freed of his chains, they still remain. thanatos suffers from nightmares/night terrors, that sometimes, not even hypnos, his twin brother & the god of sleep can soothe. than also struggles with his mental health. he also suffers from anxiety/panic attacks, migraines, etc. he suffers from emotional & physiological trauma,, such as PTSD. 
          
          thanatos suffers from various aches & pains,, due to injuries that never quite healed, such as sprains, broken bones, etc. this is a result of/the cause of kept under the bed of king sisyphus or locked away in a chest or closet. being locked away like this has left than claustrophobic/he suffers from claustrophobia 
          
          unless it is a touch from someone he trusts & such,, than is afraid of psychical touch/being touched as a result of his trauma.

☠︎︎ ⋆ ♱  ⏾  ཐི༏ཋྀ  /  /   with my portrayals of thanatos and hypnos,, i depict them both as calm, gentle, kind, peaceful, & soft gods ♡  i could depict/portray them differently,  but i believe the way i personally/individually portray the greek god of death & the greek god of sleep & dreams suits their nature & such! 

Yep gonna ero here too lol) 
          
          Another bloody massacre calis shook his head at the pile of bodies a rouge had recently gone on a rampage killing 15 humans including 5 children. He and several other vampire enforcers were working fast to properly move the bodies and bury them.

☠︎︎ ⋆ ♱  ⏾  ཐི༏ཋྀ  /  /  how do we feel about thanatos's potential new face claim/visage being Mamoudou Athie? do we like him? should i change than's face claim again? or should I return to the face claim i had previously? who else could/ would potentially suit for the peaceful & gentle god of death?

Anubis noticed before it was spoken. Before it was acknowledged. It was what he did.
          
          “…You’ve taken more than usual.”
          
          His voice was quieter now—not edged with judgment, but something closer to awareness.His gaze settled fully on Thanatos, sharper—not in challenge, but in attention.
          
          A step closer.
          
          “…Even you are not unaffected by that.”
          
          A pause. His hand lifted, resting briefly at his wrist—light, steady.
          
          “…You should not carry it alone.”
          

Anubis noticed everything. It was part of his nature—weight, imbalance, the unseen made visible.
          
          So he noticed the way movement pulled too tight across old wounds. The way stillness wasn’t entirely… effortless. And that alone was enough to unsettle something ancient within him.
          
          “…You carry it still.”
          
          His voice was quieter now, lacking its usual edge of judgment. A step closer. Then another. A hand lifted—stopping just short of an exposed scar, hovering, as though even he was uncertain of the boundary.
          
          “…This should not be.”
          
          A pause. Gold flickered faintly in his eyes—not with power, but with something closer to disapproval. Not at /him/. At what had been done.
          
          “…Death is not meant to suffer restraint…did it hurt?”
