ೃ— the senator had only spoken to the young jedi a handful of times. she only knew the girl from her husband. although , that's how padmé knew most jedi. other than the jedi she had met from when the grandmaster would ask the senator for favors. of course , each time she happily obliged. padmé saw it as an honor ; she was trusted by one of the wisest beings in the galaxy. it was an accomplishment she had done on her own. yet , she couldn't help but give some of the credit to her husband. he was the reason she began to care so deeply about the jedi after all.
the duties bestowed on her by the grand master often placed the senator in the jedi temple. she waved to the jedi she passed , her senator smile planted on her lips. the lines between the senator and padmé were becoming harder to define. only certain individuals seemed to be able to see padmé naberrie. nonetheless , both had soft spots for children.
