2024 marks my 10th year as a writer. I was 12 years old when I first wrote a story. I wasn’t that skilled in writing, until I spent years writing, which gradually improved my writing skills.
I loved writing because I loved to explore my imagination for plotting a story and use writing for raising awareness on every issue I can voice out through different categories of a story. I wanted to be an Author and have my own published book, which I was given a chance to have when my work got accepted into a publishing house.
But unfortunately, my time as a writer has come to an end, also this year. I decided to not write anymore and step down in this community, which also made me withdraw from my preparation for publishing the book.
I tried to get back what I used to love, I tried for three years. But I completely lost my passion for writing stories, and I can’t prioritize it now anymore.
It hurts me, to remember my journey here. I almost gave up in my early years because no one reads my story, until the number of reads in my stories became 100, then 500, 1k, 3k, one of my stories reached 5k, 10k, and 50k, and became the highest reads I wrote that I never expected, 86k. To see all of my stories in a thousand reads means a lot to me as a writer, to see and experience all of your love and support for me, and for the stories and characters I made.
I want to thank all of my readers ever since. For giving me the chance to experience all of the happiness every time my stories grow more, for being the reason why I once reached my peak as a writer.
I also want to thank IMMAC Printing and Publishing House for being my way to achieve my biggest dream as a writer regardless of it ending up being almost, thank you so much.
Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat.
When the time comes and writing comes back in my heart, I will gladly return, even if it means I have to go back to zero and start at the lowest level again.
Please be safe. See you again.
