I love PJO and all the Riordan-verse stories with all my heart and they are a huge part of me, but people (mainly white fans) really need to stop putting Rick on a pedestal. 
          A lot of the writings of POC characters were inherently racist and you can’t just.. ignore that.
          Not to mention Nico’s forced coming out was weirdly romanticized..
