I've always written and always loved writing so maybe this site is my Utopia. I have written over 500 poems mainly in my teens so probably worth a look back over them. I write across genres but essentially there is a mystery at the core. I can be quite prolific.
I think training as an actor has helped with developing my characters, now working as a self employed gardener I often find solutions to writer's block whilst weeding or digging bean trenches.
I have approximately 26 book ideas on the go at the moment, often when I'm writing one story I get another idea and so I jot that down until i have a workable synopsis to work from. I would love to say I'm disciplined but life tends to get in the way so I need to earn money to feed the passion.
I also make up stories for my own children and find for a few days afterwards they try writing their own.
I hope people love reading these stories as much as I loved writing them.
I have flown over to New York before to hawk my material around agents there. Namely Janet Rotrosen she said I had potential but they weren't the agent for me. I also had praise from Sandra Dijkstra, it's just finding the right agent but at least now I'm being read. Believe in your talent.
If I had the chance to choose any agent it would be Sheil Land.
