MY PROBLEMS WITH MY HEART
No, this is not a romantic story gone bad-
This is a small talk about my personal issue with my health, specifically, my heart.
I’ve had the luck to live in a country where such chronic conditions are treated as they should with no need for extra expenses. I’ve had the luck to be born in one of my country’s best hospitals, treated by wonderful surgeons and doctors and nurses since childbirth. Even so, it does not change the fact that my condition cannot be treated and has to be monitored often to the point that I’m desensitized to that place.
When you don’t see me updating often, it’s either two things: I’m on vacation, or at the hospital. Never anything else.
Other than having done the transposition of the heart valves when I was just born (which, mind you, it’s a complicated surgery that however has a good rate of success and most individuals can live life normally after), I have the luck to have a weak heart.
Weak, malfunctioning, valves that do their job poorly, heart skipping beats like it wants to scare me into having a cardiac arrest for real- It’s exhausting and time consuming. I don’t want to bore you with the list of issues my heart has anyway, but I hope yall get my point.
So, I apologise deeply for my absence these days, but what I meant to say is that it will happen again, and again, and again until I get a peacemaker or I die young. But I won’t let death have me easily- I ain't quitting anytime soon, both in life and in writing!
I’ve gotten out of the hospital a few days ago, but I still need time for recovery.
I hope to be able to write again soon. Toshibas wishes you all the best, and as always, Bye yall!
