                 “As someone who’s been fighting giant monsters basically since I was able to, you kinda stop getting scared after a while,” he said, letting the thought hang for a second. Kenji blinked as the other stepped closer, keeping his eyes locked on them. “So… uh, flattered, I guess? And just to be clear—I’m not here to cause trouble. Seriously. Fighting is the last thing I’m trying to do right now.”

                 Kenji glanced up at the towering hunk of metal beside him, eyes wide with genuine awe. Honestly? This thing was pretty awesome—easily one of the coolest hero-types he’d seen in a while.
            
                 “So, uh… you’re here to clean up? Or, like, actually do hero stuff?” he asked, letting out a nervous laugh. “Because I’d really appreciate having more heroes around this city. I’m already wiped out. Trying to save people and keep up with baseball? Yeah, it’s… a lot.”
