i want to know when did user on wattpad start writing the same. everyone talks in rhymes, metaphors, or like they’re reading poetry. i love her down but it’s giving dakota johnson and the writing from her materialists movie lmao.
          	
          	don’t get me wrong. sometimes it works, but majority of the time it cuts out so much of what’s actually happening and what’s actually being said.
          	
          	idk it’s just starting to become repetitive and boring, especially when the chapters are short.

@youcouldnever0 yes! you said exactly what i was thinking. i’ve even seen a fourth wing fanfic that had “Chat GPT” at the start of some of their chapters and i was just like “do y’all care? at all?” it seems like they’re trying to get reads, votes, followers, ect. they way they go about it, you’d think wattpad pays people if they get enough traction.
          	  
          	  then you have the real writers who are unfortunately busy with their lives so a lot of stories go unfinished or put on the back burner. it sucks, honestly.

I’ve noticed this recently too. And I’m going to be honest, I hate accusing people, but as someone who has seen firsthand I’m like 90% that a bunch of the newer writers that spring up out of nowhere and start lumping out full books are using AI. I remember reading a story and I felt like the chapters were repeating because of how similar they were and how it went around in vague circles of metaphor.

no longer reading fourth wing fics that have the oc thinking the same way violet did when finding out about the fliers and venin. i can’t take that level of stupid thinking anymore lmfao.
          
          even when i first read fourth wing, i completely understood why xaden kept it from her. even though there was a chance she would do the right thing, it took her life being on the line, xaden’s life being on the line, and liam dying for her to see how much dain would NOT do the right thing. like that girl didn’t even realize dain was reading her memories even when he explained that he had to touch the person for it to work. she was blinded by their past and let way too much slide with him.

starting to lose hope finding good fourth wing ffs that fit my interest.
          
          the ones i truly find amazing are of course slowing in updates compared to when i first started reading them.
          
          so as im back to the drawing board, im constantly going through hundreds of "eh"-like stories to find that one. sighhhh.

There's a writer I wanted to recommend, she makes really good HOTD/GOT stories but if you aren't into those she also has made other really good stories! du_silverdragon. She's a REALLY good writer! I also wanted to thank you for making such good libraries because I have found several good books through your libraries!

@AlphaSheWolf07 i’ve never seen either show. i appreciate the rec but unfortunately the FW fanfics she has are male OCs and i also don’t see Ridoc as a love interest  he’s more of a bestie for me.
