dropping here after a very long time just because I replayed the The Last Of Us series and oh my god Tommy Miller is a criminally underrated character. this man was ready to risk his life, his family, and everything he had built just to take Ellie to the Fireflies, because he knew Joel would grow attached to her, and he didn’t want him to go again through the kind of pain he experienced after losing Sarah.

he went back to Joel’s house after years, took a photo of Joel and Sarah, and kept it with him despite being estranged from Joel at the time because he loved his brother and his niece unconditionally anyway.

when Joel died, Tommy rushed to Seattle so Ellie wouldn’t be in danger.

He sacrificed his leg, his eye, his wife and arguably his sanity to protect Ellie, not just because that's what Joel would’ve wanted, but because of his own affection for her and likely out of a sense of guilt after Joel’s death.

this man also singlehandedly decimated the WLF with a sniper rifle so effectively that they thought he was either a ghost or an entire squad.

          	I love you Tommy Miller

does anyone know anything entertaining to do in rdo when you're a posse member? cuz it's boring as hell so far since only the leader can start blood money missions or strangers' activities. also where the hell is my dog

FeedMeFryes

I literally only go on there now for the collectors role, I’m so grandma. I just wanna ride round and enjoy the scenery, but I get what you mean if you want to do something kind of outlaw-y most of that stuff is best in a posse!

i was on rdo earlier and just walked around Saint Denis at night in heels for half a hour because the noise the heels make against the cement is simply exquisite *chef kiss*

@goddamn_faith yeah, it's a real shame they exist, and definitely spoil gaming experiences for many :/ i play on both consoles but xbox the most, and i wish they would do something similar given how pricey it is for live and game pass altogether lol

@ apixrl omg i'm so sorry i totally get what you mean, griefers are annoying af, i really don't know what's so funny about ruining other people's fun. also yeah it's nice for sony to still hand free trials out occasionally (i suspect it had to do with the fact that i hadn't played anything in months when i received it though)

@goddamn_faith that does sound pretty pointless, i don't get why it's so hard just adding an option that turns pvp off. it would probably bring me to play rdo more often honestly. my experience with it was short, when i finally spawned in a server (before i had even taken a step forwards) a player ran straight up to me with their gun and shot instantly :') the side of the community that just mess around and roleplay half of the time sound like tons of fun but it's finding that side in game that's the problem

nice that u got a free trial tho!!
