hey everyone! it's been a bit. it's really nice to see that you're still supporting perennial! i wish that i had more time to write, and more motivation, but it doesn't seem like i will anytime soon. 
          
          perennial was a little summer fling that i never got around to finishing. i had big plans for it, and have three or four chapters that were already mapped out. i wanted it to be ten to fifteen chapters long, but unfortunately i never ended up finishing it. 
          
          if i ever do come back to that book, i will most definitely rewrite the entire thing, along with adding new chapters. don't get your hopes up loves :/
          
          anyway, thank you so much for reading!! 3k is wild so im happy that i even got there with only two chapters.

hey everyone!! ive been doing a lot of thinking, especially about my writing. now, i had the fun idea of keeping the trend of updating perennial every month, on the seventh. (there is no actual reason for this, just an odd coincidence lmao.) lately, perennial has been kind of a drag. i know what i want to do for the book, but writing has been so hard. even worse with school coming up in less than two weeks. 
          so, ive decided to put my love on a....hold. hiatus has so many negative connotations (at least, in my mind); therefore, im going to call it an intermission!! the idea with this "intermission" is to be able to work on the book behind the scenes, without the pressure of actually having to keep a schedule, or post the chapter the minute i finish. this should be able to give me more time to write chapters, start new books, and all around boost my motivation.
