/ general background. awhile back an egotistical scientist, engineer, inventor, & scientific revolutionary by the name of kane grew bored of his past achievements . it seemed to him that he truly had done it all, that even when his genius there was nothing else to be done, nothing to create. after stewing in an empty lab, plagued by thoughts of his own existence, his presence, he began to think of god. what had god done that made it so high and mighty? what gave it the right to look down upon other’s? with everything he’d created, everything he’d accomplished, was it possible that he himself acquired some of that same power? after a lot of alcohol, perhaps a xanax or two, kane realized the inspiration for his next project. to be god is to create, to control, to give power and take it away. to be god he would make god, perhaps multiple. beings who would surpass any lifeform he’d ever come across, transcend the idea of life and death themselves. with the current political status and climate of the world, it took him a very short amount of time to figure out how he’d profit off of his project. mutants were being exposed everywhere, new otherworldly threats became more prominent by the day. he could market his new, improved, & much more powerful version of the new societal problems to every government in the world. these ideas are what birthed project ‘ meta - x ‘ a development that’d eventually lead to subject 07 ( andrew ) and the few alongside him who made the cut.
