I’m not too great at giving tips but I’ll do my best. Firstly, don’t stress yourself about not getting the writing done because that’s just going to make it worse. Don’t try to force it. Sometimes you just need a break and do something else for a while. You can also try to find inspiration relating to whatever your project is, and even if you don’t have a particular idea in mind, it helps to try out something new (for me that’s switching the genre of music that I listen to or trying out a new movie/show that I’ve been putting off watching) Sometimes we end up in a routine of the same things over and over, and it makes everything lose its luster, so it’s good to shake things up a little. I’ve also tried a method where you base a day off of either a character or the whole vibe of your book, which was really fun. I like to do that every now and again. My last bit of advice is to sit with your thoughts, no phone or music or any visual distractions. It can be hard to do that sometimes but boredom really does bring out the creativity. These are just a few things I can think of right now but if I come up with more, I’ll let you know. Hope you’ll get the spark back soon. I know it can be frustrating.
