life is hard. 

i work at an animal shelter and i’m currently on maternity leave and found out there was a fire in the shelter and it burnt to the ground. 3 dogs were confirmed dead, 5 are missing and the rest are accounted for in temporary foster homes and different animal hospitals from smoke exposure, etc. 2 of the dogs were severely injured and one of those 2 is my absolute favorite. my heart hurts. it’s so sad and i feel even worse that i couldn’t be there to help. i’m so devastated. this is a nightmare.

i had my baby on the 28th and it was the most traumatic experience i’ve ever been through, but my handsome boy is healthy and hopefully we go home today ❤️
