“wh-? ah.. it’s just you.” the redhead boy stiffened, shoulders tensing as he turned to look over. “did you guys get a free period? i thought you’d have class..” alec trailed off, a flicker of something almost unrecognizable passing over his face. “but, uh, i guess it doesn’t matter. i can drop what i’m doing and join you, if you’d like.” it may have sounded like an offer on his part, but at the same time, he truly wanted to go and /do/ something instead of having to stay in one place.
/ i’ll get better at this trust.. completely forgot how he talks but when he shows up i’ll adapt fr!!!

“no, i-!” alec started to say in a weak attempt at trying to defend himself, before he sighed and begrudgingly decided to ultimately not do so, lest it get him more embarrassed — something he didn’t exactly want to happen, but wouldn’t dare say it out loud. however, he snorted at funneh’s words, covering his mouth with a hand to try and hide it. “again? i think i remember you telling me that happened before.. they must really like you,” he joked, a twinkle in his eye as he spoke. he allowed his mouth to quirk upward, a soft expression on his face.
he almost stepped back instinctively when she were to step closer, but grounded himself to the spot, swallowing thickly as he allowed himself to meet her eyes. “yeah, yeah. i am saying that. but this is the /only/ time, so it’ll be your loss if you don’t accept.” he teased, letting out a small chuckle at his own words.
