Just added on like 200 words. Chapter is coming along pretty nicely. I will say, things might come out quicker once I’ve got the foundational chapters done, because I can take more inspiration from the shows and comics (I don’t plan on following them beat for beat and just throwing Franky in them, that’s kinda lame).

Sorry for moving at glacial speeds here everyone. Genuinely haven’t had time to write anything recently, track started up soon and this trimester I have a lot more work intensive classes. Still making time to write on the weekends, but as much as I as I love this stuff it’s still a side project. I need to focus on school, keep looking for a job, maintain my social life and stay being a chiller with my friends. Love yall and the support though, means the world to me

Characterization was something I was pretty worried about, but this next chapter is gonna finally get the majority of the X-Men introduced and I feel like I’m cooking with gasoline here. Genuinely spent a bit working on how I want each to feel, what their feelings on Francis are and how he feels about them.

Changing Ellis’ name again because I did some reading and founding out Ellis Harper was apparently an infamous confederate guerrilla soldier, and even though it’s just coincidence I don’t want a character of mine to share the same first and last name as a confederate.

I’m fighting the urge to change his name again, first go around was because I just got sick of Warren and it was too similar to Angel but Jesse also fits guys I’m losing it
