i don’t know how to explain it ..      without it sounding bad        but it already sounds bad       i just     ..   *̲(@valyrblood)       this is never a problem i’ve had before        and it almost makes me think that it’s happening ..       because there’s nothing for me to connect to       like sunfyre and moonfyre aren’t here anymore 

so ..    what does that [mean] exactly?     if you can’t get a connection to them     and you can warg any another dragon,    what does it mean,    connor?     ..  are they     the dragons     have they just gone

@fyresate      im  so  glad  you  feel  that  way.   and  i  hope  staying  out  late  to  be  with  moonfyre  was  worth  it,    because  you  won’t  be  seeing  her  for  a  while.

@tameloyal      and  what  would  you  have  me  do  instead,   aiden?    stand  off  to  the  side,   silent,   as  they  belittle  and  berate  my  family?    you  should  know  that  isn’t  an  option.   and  besides..    if  they  seek  to  collect  trophies  from  us,    it  is  only  fair  i  do  the  same.    the  next  time  they  choose  not  to  mind  their  tongues..   i  may  give  into  my  temptations  to  remove  them.    ill  either  make  them  my  own  trinket,    nailed  onto  my  wall  to  showcase  their  shame.    or  i  might,   perhaps,    serve  them  as  a  gift  to  your  father  in  a  little  gift  box,    topped  with  a  pretty  pink  bow.

@valyrblood         perhaps  that’s  why  they’ll  never  know  how  to  give  it  up,    then.     feeding  into  your  anger  is  some  kind  of  (trophy)  to  them,      and  the  more  you  show  it   —   the  more  they  have  to  sit  upon  their  shelves  at  home.       &   they’ll  keep  collecting,      considering  that’s  the  only  thing  they  can  take  from  us.      so  even  if  it  seems  worth  it,       in  the  moment?     it  may  be  more  of  a  benefit  for  them. 

@tameloyal       i  cannot  and  will  not  allow  it  to  simply ..   slip  past  me.    not  as  it  pertains  to  my  children.   they  humiliated  ry,   and  for  what?    entertainment?    under  my  own  roof?     they  may  do  and  say  as  they  please,    wherever  or  to  whoever,   but  never  will  i  allow  that.    not  my  family,   not  under  my  roof.    and  if  it  takes  pulling  my  blade  on  them  whenever  they  get  too  loose  lipped  for  my  taste?    then  so  be  it.    ill  deliver  them  a  thousand  scars  if  that’s  what  it  takes  to  put  this  quarrel  to  rest.    

@valyrblood        clearly,    they  gain  something  from  it     —considering  they  went  out  of  their  way  to  do  it.     but  at  least  we  can  make  sure  it  doesn’t  happen  again. 

@wyngdeath      to  be  expected.    where  do  they  get  off?   humiliating  a  thirteen  year  old?   i  don’t  understand ..   what  there  is  to  gain.

@valyrblood          he  snuck  away  after  it  all  happened,    but  i  found  him  ..     he’s  upset  to  say  the  least,     &    humiliated  with  the  insults.
