NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE, I’M JUST GLAD YOU CAME. ❜ this no dismissal, despite what it sounds like. quite the opposite, actually. steve’s tone is soft &&. honyed. kind, if not gentle. steve lifts the covers of his bedsheets for bob to slip in, his book is delicately placed on his nightstand &&. a sweet smile appears on his expression. the captain’s room is the literal tranquillity. candles flicker, emitting the smell of green tea &&. mint. a subtle difference from rogers’ smell of cocoa butter, vanilla &&. brown sugar. there’s an ambient sound of brown noise humming in the background. steve is obviously at peace, maybe he could give bob a moment of tranquility too. ❛ ARE YOU A FAN OF READING? SORRY. ❜❜ he can still hear it : the dull tick, tick, tick of the alarm clock strewn beneath his bed. bob had removed the batteries from it almost three hours ago, but he swears they've crawled back into the device & are tormenting him. sweaty palms wipe at the fabric of his pants, & he manages to dislodge his feet to step into the room. ❛❛ can't sleep. sorry. it's... not your fault or anything. the bed's really comfortable. i just —- it's me, i think. always is. ❜❜

a semi-selective portrayal set within the marvel comics universe, with influences from the 'thunderbolts' film. mainly built off of headcanons. penned by chaz (20, they / she). mature themes ahead, such as violence, gore, death, mental health, drug use & abuse. proceed with caution.

— AS A GENERAL RULE OF THUMB, i will not be entertaining anything that treats bob & his mental health / drug abuse as a joke. i'm writing bob, a recovering addict, AS a recovering addict. i won't go into detail with his drug use ever, & ask that you do the same. detailed drug use is still fairly triggering, so please add a tw if it ever comes up on your profile. i'll of course do the same <3
— AS FOR MENTAL HEALTH, i write bob with schizophrenia & borderline personality disorder / emotional unstable personality disorder. his bpd / eupd will be based upon what we see in thunderbolts* & my own experiences with the diagnosis. as for the schizophrenia, i am actively researching & always trying to portray his struggles with as much respect & care as i can. if i ever do something wrong please let me know!
— IF ASKED, i can write either as bob / sentry, or as the void. i'm not as comfortable with writing the void as of yet but it's integral to bob as a character & i plan on exploring both versions of him just as equally. let me know in advance if you'd rather have an interaction with bob or the void (:
