@xxxdarkrosexxx I meant no harm in what I said! I have read your other stories and enjoyed them:) I think you have a very unique style of writing (that is a good thing!) Its not good to have a boring writing sense, if will disinterest your readers! But I agree is she is sensetive to plots like that then she shouldn't read it! Your doing a great job kid! If you read some of xxxdarkrosexxx's other readings you will see that she is a good writer. (you are :) Writers tend to sometimes pour their feelings into their writings, I see and do it all the time haha. JackieBeast your reference to scary movies confused me because sometimes they are sick haha but that is fine I see where you going with it :) I am sure you all are very good people and I hope that you do stand up for what you believe in, you won't get anywhere in life if you let people push you around, I know haha. Just a side note... did any of you think of joiing a debate team :)
@xxxdarkrosexxx @JackieBeast @gotasecrettoshare Hey Ya'll. (yes I am from the south :) gotasecrettoshare, I did read the story you were talking about and I kinda feel the same way. (no hard feelings xxxdarkrosexxx) Although she could have chosen something better to write if that is what she feels the need to write then so be it! There are people out there that think writing things like that are okay and that is fine by me, I have no right to tell them otherwise. I do not judge people for what they write. A writer is defined by what they WRITE and READ. I do agree with you on how just because the characters are fake does not necessarily make the story fiction. I don't see how you judged her, you simply expressed your feeling and that is of course always allowed. Her fans are not sick, what I do think is sick is the comments that crave for more of the story. I think this all is just a waste of time because everyone is going to see wrong in eachother. So save your words. But it was VERY judgemental when xxxdarkrosexxx said there is no question why you have no fans. It is a pity when people don't even see themselves as hypocrites. (not calling you one darkrose, but be careful how you word things and remember what you said before because words can easily be confused) I think people are entitled to their own opinion, but you can NOT define someone by them.Word chocies and beliefs do define people and obviously you are a very opinionated person (gotasecrettoshare) and that is fine. I will admit I am very blunt haha but I am also very easy to get along with. I have a lot of friends with different likes and dislikes, and different personalities, the key to being a good person and great writer... is to be honest and stand up for what you believe in and don't hold back. (but always be able to back up your feelings, meaning don't just say don't like it because it is gross... come on really haha)
@JackieBeast Just because she makes up fictional characters doesn't mean its okay to write it. I may not be able to judge the book by the first page but I shudder at the thought of people wanting to read more. I am sure the character was stuck in a horrible situation, I know exactly what its like! Being her fan does not make you sick, liking and encouraging her to write more of that story does! Why in the world would you appreciate something so awful that happens to people daily? I never told her what to and what to not write, I simply said she could right better stories than that and that it is a shame she chose to write something like that in the first place. I understand not all books are going to be happy and fluffy, I for one do not believe in there always being a happy ending. However, writing about something that you as a person know is wrong (I hope) is horrible and dumb! I am not offended by this at all, and don't plan to be. You, as am I, are entitled to your own opinion.
Um, I'm sorry to interrupt but fictional stories are stories with made up characters. The situation can be life-like but if the characters are fake then it's fictional.
I've read the few chapters she's written and you can't really judge the first page but I don't recommend that you continue to read it though. The character seems to be stuck in a horrible relationship.
I'm her fan and I don't think I'm sick. Do you call people who watch scary movies sick? People can appreciate the darker side of the world but it doesn’t mean they support it.
You shouldn’t tell her what to write. Some authors are realist or are better at writing scary/sad stories. Books aren't always going to be happy and fluffy.
Um, please don't be offended by this message. You are entitled to your opinion but I don't think you should judge others so harshly without knowing more about their stories and stuff.
Also if you aren't replying to someone on their stories or wall then you have to put @**** She probably hasn't seen your response.
And one more thing, you said that its a teen fiction... its not fiction as much as I wish it was, this sadly happens to people :/
Okay . I only judged because I know there is sick people that get off on that crap. I did no wrong at all hun, I left a comment. It is not my fault if you cannot take criticism well. I may have my wrongs but they definitely have nothing to do with leaving that comment. You can go ahead and get rid of it if it offended you.
I know someone who went through stuff closely related to this, and you have no idea how much offense it is, or the state that it left them in. Also the reason I clicked on this story was because someone recommended it (which is sick if you ask me) and after reading the first page I didn't even go on.
Go ahead and pity me but just know there is plenty of other people out there who agree. Do not pity me for standing up to what I think. The only people you are attracting to read that is those you get a kick out of that kind of crap.
I don't have any fans because I just made this account, and have no stories up. So YOU don't need to judge. I did not judge you as a person, I clearly just said you should feel ashamed, but the only reason you have fans for that story is because people are sick. I do get your general idea to the story and I am sure you are against it from happeding in real life (I so hope you are) but there is no need to write about it. I did not mean for this to deter you from writing, but just know that there are others out there that would have been ten times more mean than me. I am sure you are a great writer, you can right better stories than that though.
