@gothamsgone   (  ?  )   {  HE  SIGHS ,     a  breath  away  from  giving  up  ,   fists  clench  and  he  seems  angry ,   though  in  reality  all  he's  scared  of  is  the  loss  he  might  face  .   he  stalks  towards  her  with  some  kind  of  intent .   gotham  was  his  home ,   he  couldn't  leave  no  matter  how  much  he  might  have  wanted  to  in  the  past ,   despite  its  flaws  it  was  his  home  and  he  loved  it  .   ]     is  this  facade  all  i  am  to  you  now  ?    i'd  leave  it  behind  if  i  could ,   but  i  can't  .   i  won't .  not  if  it  keeps  me  from  seeing  you  hurt  again .

@BVTMVNS   |     [  she was angry — but was she angry toward him,  or at herself ?  ..  perhaps more at herself than anything .  cheeks flushed a bright red as she stared at him , lower lip beginning to tremble ,  but she mustn’t cry .  she didn’t want to look weak .  inside though, she wished she could just cry .  maybe it was because everything scared her— you know, she never asked to do this, to take over her fathers business. she just wanted a normal life as a journalist, yet gotham always finds a way back to her .. against her will.  ] alright then.  / well / .. batman ,   [ she spoke the name with a force to it , with a punch . ] ( .. ) just ( .. ) stop.  

@gothamsgone   (  ?  )    a  / burden /  ?   if  you'd   listen  to  / me /   ,   you'd  understand  that  a  burden  is  the  very  last  thing  i  consider  you  to  be  .    you  have  business ,    that  doesn't  hault  my  concern ,   mei  --    and  maybe  you  / can /  handle  it ,   but  i  can't  take  the  thought  of  the  one  moment  that  you  couldn't .
