personal opinion that burn is better then first burn

pls don't attack me, first burn just feels like a 'if hamilton pulled that shit while married to angelica ' thing, like just rage and yelling, while burn is literally eliza attacking hamilton in his biggest pride; his words, his writing. burn is also more emotional then first burn, it doesn't help that eliza forgives hamilton in its quiet uptown, so her going all angry and yelling just to grab his hand and forgive him ( especially after he was another reason why phillip died AND he cheated ) just doesn't feel right.

I love both of them, but context wise I'm glad they stuck with burn.

also why's hamilton so aggressive to eliza when saying ' I am not throwing away my shot ' but when he says it to angelica he's more passive ( still aggressive, not as bad )

To answer the second portion (and I believe this was from a tiktok comment) Angelica was the dream he longed for, Eliza was the reality he got bored of.

/ So...y'know Roger right? Well, he was originally a Hamilton oc, born to the brother of Hercules Mulligan, Hugh. Hugh Mulligan is much older (in my rendition at least) and so Roger is only a couple years younger than Hercules, despite being his nephew. In the Hamilton au, Roger is more soft than his normal au but playful and flirty like Philip. He assists Herc with his tailor gig and helps his father with his work as well. Roger's mother is called Andrea (she's my oc) and she's a white, middle class girl. Not Schuyler status but not in the slums either. Her family disowned her for marrying a black man, and so Hugh's family was mostly there for Roger and his two siblings.

I'm thinking he meets Eliza either after Alex does or before he does at the winter ball and woos her

@milfnhoney I honestly love that idea so much! she deserves a guy who won't end up cheating on her, ignoring her for work, and getting her oldest son killed-

she'd be 22- 24 (most of Google said 23 but idk) at the winters ball (for 1780 anyway), how old would he be?
