I know you guys will be so sick of my excuses but I have 2 weeks to write a personal statement and 1 to revise for the UK CAT exam so I'll have to update once that's done. oops.

Please please please continue Sherlock. I started reading it a day ago and i really want an update! I know im not the only one, so pleeeeaaaase update!

Hey guys, I hope you have the time to read this because I don't think that I will be posting an update any time soon, even though I do want to. I've started to write the next chapter but I've started to wonder who I'm writing for. Even though my quality of writing has improved a lot I feel, it seems that less and less people want to finish the story, and I can't understand why. Is it because Sherlock isn't involved right now? A lack of smut? An unlikable main character? It was never my intention to have the standard shy, adorably awakened, complacent, main character, so I'm sorry if that's what you want because you won't get that here. But although I may seem shallow and attention seeking, I don't think I'll be updating until I feel enough people have read the last few chapters. I now finally understand why other writers ask for a certain number of reads before updating. It's because it feels crushing when you've poured out all that creativity and emotion into your writing to have it so badly received, and you don't know why. And I don't see why I should update if there's no one around to read it. I'm not forcing anyone to power-read the whole story, I just want newcomers to it to give it a chance. So thank you in advance.
